Appraisal Consultants, LLC has been providing professional Real Estate Appraisal & Consulting services throughout the State of Wisconsin for almost 30 years.

Our services include appraisals, consultation, and litigation support of most property types.

These services include just about every situation from lending, to eminent domain, to estate settlement, to bankruptcy, to dispute resolution, and so on.

Our clientele includes property owners, lenders, attorney's, financial advisors, municipalities, engineering firms, corporations, etc.

Read any mission statement of any service provider and they generally use the same terms to describe themselves (i.e. high quality, striving for excellence, etc.). Those are great objectives but how are they achieved?

In order to attain any degree of quality and/or excellence in Real Estate Appraisal we have to be:

1. Professional - 'conforming to the technical and ethical standards of our chosen profession'

2. Credible - 'trustworthiness and expertise in producing a believable and defensible product''

3. Knowledgeable - 'educated and well informed with a commitment to continue to learn'

By living and working within those three areas everyday, Appraisal Consultants, LLC strives to provide our clients with a quality and detail that not only meets their expectations but exceeds them. It is our theory of 1+1; if our competition goes one mile we go two.

The goal of an appraiser is to produce a credible and defensible appraisal report while conforming to all ethical standards (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice). Credibility comes by doing more than that which is required or expected.


Brief History:

David L. Gagnow, MAI, SRA started in the Real Estate Business in the early 70's (construction and listing/selling) then moving onto appraising full time from the early 80's to the present.

Partnering with his son Jeffrey S. Gagnow in the early 90's their firm has set the standard in the Appraisal Business for professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail.

By utilizing their knowledge and the latest technology available, Appraisal Consultants, LLC strives to provide the users and readers of real estate appraisal reports. With enough data and factual information to provide a credible and defensable appraisal but we also strive to put the complex nature of an appraisal report into common sense terms not only with the written word but with visual content (i.e. ArcGIS, Esri Business Analyst, 3D graphics and animation when available; samples can be seen within 'The Appraisal Report' page of this site).

David L. Gagnow is a designated member; Appraisal Institute and licensed Wisconsin Real Esate Broker while Jeffrey S. Gagnow is an associate member; Appraisal Institute. Both are Wisconsin Certified General Real Estate Appraisers.
